MSNBC: Watch for Virginia, McCain Triangle, Senate Seats

Five Things to Watch For

Onemargaret
Per MSNBC.com, these are the top five things to be on the lookout for tonight during election returns.

1. Virginia - Early Bellwether - polls close around 7:30 p.m.

2. McCain Triangle - Needs OH, NC, and FL, if he loses Virginia (polls close around 8 p.m.)

3. Democratic drive for 60 Senate Seats - With the Kentucky results - Mitch McConnell, Senate Republican leader could be in a tight race

4. GOP Reduced to Just a Southern Party? Take a look at the only Republican New England Congressman.

5. What if Obama wins popular vote but loses electoral vote? How will the country react to that?

I know Ohio, Florida, and Virginia went to Obama, but did North Carolina? I thought it did. At any rate, I'm so glad he won the presidency. I think he's going to be, not only a good president, but a great one. Come January 20th, all of America can stand a little taller. :)

It probably will come down to the McCain triangle. Even then, though Ohio is typically red I don't see him winning in NC or FL. VA closes at 7:30 so we'll see what happens.
