Mt. Olympus Resort, Waterpark and Theme Park
Where Mortals Come to Play - Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin
The Bay- The Bay is a 55,000 square foot indoor water park. The Bay offers some of the greatest slides such as the Anaconda, Boa, Cobra and Diamondback. You guessed it; the slides are all named after snakes. The decor and theme for these slides is that of the jungle. These slides are not your normal swimming pool slides neither; they offer an adrenaline rush as you go racing down them.
For little ones The Bay has the Hispaniola Bay which is designed for children 48" or under with adult supervision. Your little ones will have a blast with the 35-foot long pirate ship that comes complete with five water slides, waterspouts and geysers.
The Bay also sports two great hot tubs that the adults can enjoy. The Jaguar hot tub is a Mayan themed whirlpool complete with waterfalls. The Sacred Well whirlpool is the hot tub to go and just relax and let your worries slip away.
Parthenon Indoor Theme Park- The Parthenon Indoor Theme Park offers fun for the whole family year round. The damper is that most of the rides have a height restriction of 48"; there are some rides such as the Tea Cups and Crazy Trolley that allow for 36". While there are some here that do allow for younger children, most of the thrill rides are set to the height restriction.
If you are tall enough and brave enough then taken on the thrills offered to you by the Disko. The Disko is a fast spinning and rotating thrill ride. When you get enough of the Disko then move over to the OPA Roller coaster which will have your screaming with each dip, drop and spin all the way to the bottom.
If thrill rides are not your thing, then go over and crash around with your family and friend in the bumper cars. Who can resist this great theme park classic?
Neptune's Outdoor Water Park- Neptune's Outdoor Water Park has the Blue Magnum Body Slides known as wipe out, kamikaze, corkscrew and twister. These four slides are some of the meanest slides around. These are a thrill seekers must as they will have you twisting and turning for along ways down.
Of course what would Mt Olympus be with out the God Triton hanging around? Take on Triton's Fury with this daring raft ride. Up to four people can ride in the raft that will take you all down a 340 foot long ride after you hit the 90 degree turn. Really want a thrill compliments of Triton? Take on Triton's Rage in this raft ride for multiple people. Climb a 5 story tower and then get ready to ride down 550 feet complete with twists, turns and drops.
Don't worry if you have little ones because Neptune's Outdoor Water Park has not forgotten them. Keep the little ones happy in Huck's Lagoon, Kiddie City and even with a little game of Bumper Boats.
Zeus' Outdoor Theme Park- This outdoor theme park boasts some of the greatest hair raising rollercoasters around. With names such as Hades, Pegasus, Cyclops and Zeus you can clearly see why these rollercoasters will have you screaming and your heart pounding.
Rollercoasters are not the only thing that this outdoor theme park has to offer. If you love go-karts then you will love this multi-towered underwater go-kart track. Underwater not your thing? Don't worry they have the Medusa's Drop which is a multi-level track that will have your heart pumping as you take on death defying drops and turns. Hey at least it is not underwater.
A Batting Cage is available for baseball lovers who just want to relax and not do anything adventurous. The cages offer different levels for each person's batting level.
New this year is Mt. Olympus' new suf pool the " Poseidon's Rage". Truly a must experience for any surfer. Every 90 seconds you will be hit with a new wall to surf. The waves in " Poseidon's Rage" get up to 9 feet tall for the ultimate is surfing experience.
These are just some of the things offered at all four parks in Mt Olympus. There is so much more that can be seen and done here that I have not mentioned. To truly appreciate all that Mt. Olympus has to offer you are just going to have to visit the resort yourself.
