MTV Jersey Shore's Snooki Wants Her Own Talk Show

MTV Jersey Shore's Snooki wants her own talk show. In an interview in the current issue of OK! magazine, Snooki says, " I want a dating show - Snookin' For Love. I want to find my prince. I'd have 27 guys: guidos and juice heads. That'd be heaven! Every time I'd pick a guy, I'd give them a pickle and we'd eat the pickle at the end."

Even if Snooki is joking about her own dating show, she has been grabbing the spotlight

MTV Jersey Shore's Snooki is just one of the eight Italian Americans on the show. The show depicts Italians, however it focuses solely on a particular segment known as "Guido." As reported in MTV's Jersey Shore: Advertisers Run Scared While the Show Continues to Be a Hit, "Guido men are working class Italian American men who pride themselves on their macho attitudes, big muscles, tight shirts, and lots of gel in their dark hair. They talk tough and they act tough. A Guidette is the female equivalent. She makes sure her hair is perfectly combed and gelled. She never leaves the house without lots of makeup, nails done and sexy clothes. Guidettes stand by their men, but they can be tough as nails as well."

While the show faces controversy by Italians who are offended by the image, the 21-year-old Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, who is half Spanish and was adopted, hence the reason for her dark tan, continues to get attention. Known as a drama queen, Snooki has gotten severely drunk on the show, kissed many of the guys on the show, gotten into arguments and was in the news for getting punch out by a man. She is the most memorable character of the show because of her outlandish behavior. She demands attention and she gets it.

What's in store for MTV Jersey Shore's Snooki?

Snooki's image continues to pop up in the news and now with an interview at OK! magazine. Few would be surprised if she moves on from Jersey Shore to her own reality TV show. Producers are looking for characters that sell. A drama queen like Snooki could possibly get enough viewers for her own show to take off, whether people like her or not.
