MTV Movie Awards 2010: Highlights and the Complete List of Winners
It's Twilight, Twilight and More Twilight at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards
But first, highlights of the show- which was hosted by comedian Aziz Ansari- included an appearance by actress Sandra Bullock, who accepted the MTV Generation Award. Guess she's considered "old" in the MTV kids' eyes, but Bullock assured fans she is not going away any time soon.
Betty White was also on stage, to roast Bullock with a hilarious rundown of Bullock's movies (White gave her kudos for her work in the movie Speed, a movie about " an amphetamine addict").
Musical performances included a blue-haired Katy Perry (she looked like Veronica from the Archie comics) with Snoop Dogg on the song 'California Gurls" and Christina Aguilera, who had a light bulb moment- on her heart-shaped box.
And Tom Cruise transformed into his Tropic Thunder altar ego, Les Grossman, for a hip hop routine with Jennifer Lopez.
Winners of the 2010 MTV Movie Awards
But the night really belonged to the movie and cast of the Twilight sequel, New Moon. All in all the vampires took home 5 popcorn tub trophies, making Twilight the big winner of the night.

The MTV Movie Awards was definitely not your typical, stuffy awards show, that's for sure. And while it's definitely not for kids (but what on MTV is anymore?) now I know why, after all these years, I still want my MTV-- censors and all.

Post a CommentGreat recap thanks!
Kristen Stewart sucks at acting. She can't pull of dramatic performances and she plays a bad Bella. New Moon wasn't that good and the other movies deserved to have more awards.
Kristen may be young but she's a fabulous actress. She has a lot of movies in her resume beside the Twilight series which speak for themselves.
nice update, thanks!
kristen stwart does not deserve best actress she does not know how to act at all! and she was nominated against sandra nad emma who are way better actresses than her!
Thanks for the update. I didn't see it.
Did you see how Robert Pattinson was looking at Kristin Stewart when she won Best Actress. That is pure love.
