MTV's "Teen Mom" News: Amber Portwood Reaches Deal with Child Protective Services

So earlier today we talked about Teen Mom's Amber Portwood and how the Anderson Po-Po is going to subpoena the unedited video of the infamous "Slap My Gary Up" scene. Then her Dad blathered on to Radar online about what a victim Amber is in all of this, and we had a good chuckle.

Well, then her mom went and gave an unintentionally hilarious interview over at Hollywoodlife.com which as since disappeared from their page. In that interview, she pretty much parrots everything Papa Portwood had to say, only this time saying Gary trapped her by getting her pregnant because he didn't wear a condom! Yes! Now it all makes sense! That big bad Gary! I really wish I could get a link for you guys to read, it was priceless.

But in serious news, Amber has entered into an agreement with Indiana Child Services to have her parenting monitored for the next 6 months. It's called "Informal Adjustment"...which basically means she can still have Leah around, but someone's going to be looking in on her. A lot.

Says a rep from ICPS: "An informal adjustment means that we are working directly with a family. We are putting local resources in place, such as family classes or support mechanism, including therapy so the child does not have to be removed from the home to remain safe.

He lawyer said blah...blah...blah...misinformation...blah...basically blaming people like me for stressing poor Orangina out.

Tape doesn't lie, dude.

So this is a step in the right direction. Did you know that ICPS got over 300 calls about lil' Leah? That is astounding. Amber will get to keep custody of Leah as long as she remains compliant with the program. But there hasn't been any word from Gary as to whether or not he will assert his parental rights, or if he's involved in the plan.
