MTV's 'Teen Mom' News: Leah Files for Divorce and Maci Gets Engaged!

Ok, because I suck at this job more times than not, when I saw this cover of OK! Magazine at the market yesterday I about hit the floor! Leah and Corey are breaking up? Nooooooo! But then my second thought was... 'second-season-itis' a condition known in reality TV when a once normal person becomes completely invaded by the bat shit crazy fame monster and loses their ever loving mind when a little attention comes knocking.

See: Portwood, Amber... Zarin, Jill.... Leakes, NeNe... Morgan, Sonja and Frankel, Bethenny...just to name a handful.

So now Radar Online is reporting that Leah went and filed for divorce, on camera, and then wailed about it, on camera, and this whole break up is her big story arc as they film the second season of "Teen Mom 2."

This screams complete and total set-up to me, but then again MTV probably forced these kids into a rushed marriage by offering to pay for it if they did it in time for the season finale.

Well done, MTV. Again with the messing with a kid's family, in this case TWO children, for ratings. We should really find a way for this network to win a Nobel Prize of some sort.

In other news...

Heeeeeeeyyyyyy.... remember the love triangle of Maci, Ryan and Kyle? Well, turns out, Kahhhhl was finally worn down by the Maci Monster and he put a ring on it. So they're all engaged, but Maci, well versed on what aspects of her life make good TV, decided to tell Rahhhhn at the Reunion Special they just taped for season 3 last week, and Kyle reportedly went bananas because Maci is a dingbat that does everything for TV instead of telling him privately. But what I really want to know is, did he yawn while she told him?

So there's that. The circle of life over at "Teen Mom" and all that jazz. What do you think? Do you think Leah's got a case of the Season 2's and this is all for show or did MTV push these kids down the aisle way too fast? And do we even care about Maci's engagement?
