Come join us at the mystical event of the year, as we celebrate the finale to the Harry Potter Series. On July 20, from noon until midnight, Downtown Oshkosh will be transformed into a magical world, as we host the family event of the summer - Harry Potter's Oshkosh Main Street Magic. This magical event will kick off with fun activities at the Ministry of Magic, located at the Public Library. Place a pre-paid order of the seventh book with Apple Blossom Books, and receive a souvenir edition of Oshkosh Marauder's Map, as well as a Downtown Rotary raffle ticket with a chance to win a trip for 4 to London, England. We will transform the historic portion of the Oshkosh Public library into Hogwarts Library! Come spend some time with Hermione, walk the Marauder's Map, win prizes in a scavenger hunt, take photos with costumed characters, and attend wizardly classes taught by visiting Professors. Here are the available lessons:
*Herbology (10:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m.)
A humorous lesson with Mr Sprout
*Defense Against the Dark Arts (10:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m.)
A lesson on the struggle between good and evil
*Magical Creatures (7:00 p.m. or 9:00 p.m.)
A lesson taught by Professor Rosenberg, a raptor rehabilitator, with his two live owls

Description
Come dine with esteemed Hogwarts professors at the Wizards' Feast, which will be held at the historic Algoma Club. You will be served a 3-course meal: a summer salad with candied walnuts and fresh fruit, your choice of roast chicken and vegetables or a pasta dish, followed by an apple custard tart for dessert.
With each ticket, you will get a complimentary photo with one of your favorite wizarding characters, as well as a souvenir edition of Oshkosh Marauder's Map, a copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows©, as well as a Downtown Rotary raffle ticket for a chance to win a trip for 4 to London. If you have ever dreamt of playing as the Knight in Wizard Chess, or chasing a Golden Snitch, this is your chance! Join us at the Harry Potter Middle School Night on Friday, July 20. You will also be able to enjoy the 'Y's full facilities, including swimming, basketball, racquetball and more in the Family Primetime center.
Each student must have a ticket and a parent's signature to enter. Pick up will be at 11:00 p.m.

Description
Come join in the magic as the Boys and Girls Club of Oshkosh weaves its own transfiguration spell at a Harry Potter party for high school students. A magical world will be created through interactive games and activities. You will also get a peek into the way in which the magical "wizarding world" can be completely separate from the world of Muggles, yet still be intimately connected to it.

    wow, looks like Oskosh is really putting on a great event, to bad it is so far away, sounds really fun. Only a few more days to go!
