Multiple Streams of Income Compared to Program Jumping

What is the difference between program jumping and developing multiple streams of income?

Please understand this concept so you do not end up getting ripped off or ripping other people off. Having multiple streams of income is a very popular idea. There are many books, television infomercials and seminars that praise this concept.

The purpose or intention behind the creation of multiple streams of income online was to help people get started with one project (i.e. direct sales company, mlm, or other affiliate program) and work and build that until they had mastered the techniques and built a respectable source or cash flow over a one or two year time frame. And then once things were continuing to grow with or without the daily involvement of the business owner, they could then add another project to their internet portfolio.

Since the first project would be running on 'autopilot,' the business owner could spend more time and resources into buillding the second project until they had similar results. They could then repeat the process as many times as they wanted knowing that they were not to move on unless their current and all prior projects were still growing and producing steady income without their daily involvement. As mentioned, this would usually take at least a year or two and sometimes more to get each separate project to that self-sustaining level.

If you have perfected the strategy mentioned above, you may decide to add additional projects to your portfolio as long as you do not sacrifice spreading yourself too thin.

Trying to add new projects before your first program is on auto-pilot can signify that you are a program jumper and are just looking for a quicker and easier way to make money without having to put in the required effort.

Program jumpers might try to sound like experts, but do your research before you join up with anyone. Ask them about their track record and past success. Ask them why they chose their current project.

And do not try to develop multiple streams of internet income until you have succeeded with your first project. Even then, you have to be careful because some companies will terminate your account if you pitch your team members on different opportunities.

It is just much easier to focus on one really good internet project. Take your time and find the right project and the right sponsor and build that and nothing else until you create the income and stability you are looking for. Make sure you do that first, and only then should you even consider trying anything different.
