Multi-Tab Power Strip: Add Additional Outlets One at a Time
The Product Could Eliminate the Current Power Strip Design that We All Love
Soon Mo Kang has created a Power Strip that enables you to do three key things that are currently unavailable with current models on the market today. The Multi-Tab strip comes designed with something called Modular construction. This means the design is constructed so that you have the ability to expand on the current structure, similar to building yourself a modular home. Each plug then comes equipped with a sticker label. The sticker label will allow you to know what each outlet is powering. Finally, each component that is plugged in can also be turned off individually. A LED light will indicate when the outlet is on or off.
Perhaps the coolest piece of the Multi-Tab strip would have to be the modular construction design. Each outlet comes in the shape of a small square. You are then able to purchase additional "squares" and add them onto the Multi-Tab strip. This allows you to keep adding onto your strip whenever you need additional outlets. I find this useful because I often find myself purchasing extra Power Strips that I plug into other Power Strips. This can become quite the mess after some time. The modular design will allow consumers to keep the area behind their television set a bit more neater.
The vast majority of industry insiders who were allowed to see this product left with the impression that this is the future. Why would anyone want to deal with large and clunky power strips that cost a ton of money? The Multi-Tab strip would allow consumers to make investments in small installments. They no longer would have to pay for a Power Strip's 6 outlets, but can purchase one easy to attach outlet whenever they have the capabilities. This product will be hitting the Japan market later this year and the US market sometime next year.
