Munny Doll How To: Easily Design Your Own

SDR2010
I have created my own Munny dolls for some time now because I enjoy the creative aspects of the process. I also enjoy experimenting with the Munny dolls and finding new and unique ways to design the same dolls. What I enjoy about the creation is the thinking and artistic expression that is required for every Munny doll and I believe that this is the reason that these dolls have become so popular. It has become a way to create something unique and also a constructive way to release stress on a weekly basis in my life and I find it very easy to create unique Munny dolls.

A Munny doll is a acrylic figure that is created and sold by KidRobot and each doll will cost you $25.00. What the Munny doll provides is a forum for expression of your artistic desires in a constructive way and this is why I enjoy them. What you will need to customize your own is one bottle of acrylic paint, one bottle or latex paint, one bottle of clear spray coating and a bucket of water.

What you will need to do is take the Munny doll out of the package and place him in the bucket of water for five minutes in order to clear the doll so the paint will stick to the surface. Once you have done this you should wipe off the doll so that every part of the surface is clean. You will then shake up the bottle of acrylic paint and spray it directly on the Munny doll while turning the doll as you coat the surface. I used plastic paint purchased from Amazon but you can use acrylic paint and a paintbrush in order to achieve a uniform look. You can also use spray paint if you look but this option should only be used outdoors because spray paint contains toxic fumes.

If you want to add details to the face of the doll then you would need to draw on the design using a very fine brush and latex paint being sure to let each layer dry before going onto the next. I purchased this paint from Amazon and it worked very well. At this point you should have the finished design of your Munny doll. Spray the clear coating around the entire doll and allow the doll to dry overnight.
