Dallas, TX 75210
United States of America
A Dallas location that has become synonymous with infamy is Dealy Plaza. It was at this location on a cool November afternoon in 1963 that President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was shot as his motorcade passed the Texas Schoolbook Depository Building. That building now houses The Sixth Floor Museum. Opening on Presidents Day 1989, the museum housed on the sixth and seventh floor of the building exhibits artifacts and documents pertaining to the Kennedy assassination, and the legacy of the 35th President of the United States. Open daily except Christmas and Thanksgiving Tuesday through Sunday 10am to 6pm - Monday 12pm to 6pm. Admission $12.50 http://jfk.org/
The Women' Museum

Post a CommentI have been informed that there is an error in this article, The Museum of Natural Science as actually in Fair Park, not Victory Park as I wrote.

Mike,
Thanks for including the Museum of Nature & Science in your story, "Museums in the Dallas area worth seeing." There's one small error in the article; you say MNS is located in Victory Park. Actually, it is in Fair Park. The museum will soon break ground on an expansion for a new facility in Victory Park, but that will not be open for a couple more years while is is under construction.
If you have questions or need information, please get in touch.
