The violin is partial
To cherry, ebony and maple,
While the guitar is more favored
With walnut and basswood.
To cherry, ebony and maple,
While the guitar is more favored
With walnut and basswood.
Then we get to metals,
Which make up the woodwinds.
Trumpets, coronets and saxophones
To name a few.
All these compositions leads to a greater one -
The full orchestra.
Many will say they do not like classic music,
But they are fooling themselves.
There is at least one tune each one of us
Has come quite fond of over the years.
There is not one particular one,
Which everyone likes to hear.
Each person finds what they like,
And will stick to it maybe for life.
It is hard to imagine how one thought of
The first instrument, but it happened.
