Unchained Melody is over-the-top, no-holds-barred romantic. If you don't know the Righteous Brothers' uber-passionate song, you live under a rock.

Closer - Nine Inch Nails
With lyrics such as "I want to *bleep* you like an animal, I want to feel you from the inside" the song's nature is not what I call romantic, but it's certainly explicit. If you like Nine Inch Nails' music, that song just might get you in the mood. And by the way, if you don't know what's got bleeped out you're too young to have sex anyway.

Even if you don't speak French, the female moaning in the background is a dead give-away that the song is about you-know-what.

Sophie B. Hawkins' rich voice and lyrics such as

In Your Eyes - Peter Gabriel
If you haven't seen "Say Anything", starring John Cusack as Lloyd Dobler, then do it ASAP. The scene where Lloyd Dobler plays "In Your Eyes" outside his girlfriend window by holding up a boombox is a true classic. "In Your Eyes" is one of the best romantic pop songs of the 80s.

Barry White
I'm sure Barry White, with his sensational deep voice, got millions of couples in the mood. He is probably R&B's most romantic singer. Any song by Barry White will do, but "Can't Get Enough of Your Love, Babe" might be his most famous song. So go, listen to Barry, and make babies.
