Music Stores on Lyons Ave in Newhall, California

Lowes Music, World Music, and Vibe are each located in Newhall, in the Santa Clarita Valley, on Lyons Ave.

My personal favorite is Lowes Music. It has a friendly atmosphere, good prices, a good selection, and good teachers. It's my personal favorite mainly because I buy guitar strings most often, and Lowes Music has the lowest price. Lowes Music also has a good selection of everything, from guitars to woodwind accessories. Lowes Music also provides lessons.

World Music, however, is bigger than Lowes Music. But every time I go there I feel like they are ripping me off, their prices aren't very good. They have a biggest selection out of all the music stores. World Music provides lessons as well, and a Jam Night on the last Thursday of every month.

Vibe (pronounced "vibe-ee") specializes in lessons, they have very good teachers who know exactly what they're doing. They have lessons for dancing, guitar, drums, singing, sax., or anything you can imagine. The prices for accessories (like tuners, strings, instrument cables, and so on) are terrible. It'd be worth it to go the extra miles down Lyons Ave. just to get one item that you need.
