GREENVILLE, OH - The exclusive country music and variety group, The Brothers & Co. Entertainers from Jamestown will headline two performances the 2010 Annie Oakley Days Festival July 24th in Greenville, Ohio. The first show begins Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at the south end of the Darke County Fairground on State Route 49. At 7 p.m. the group will take the stage once again to host the Annie Oakley Western Arts Showcase on the main floor of the fairground coliseum.

Nicknamed, "The Boys in Black," The Brothers & Co. are a favorite on stages throughout the Midwest including Dayton's Schuster Performing Arts Center Wintergarden, The Victoria Theatre and the Paint Valley Jamboree in Bainbridge. Most often compared to The Statler Brothers, their four-part vocal and instrumental repertoire includes covers by George Jones, John Denver, the Everly Brothers and many original pieces.

Formed in 1995 by two sets of brothers, nephews and uncles, the history of The Brothers & Co. Entertainers actually dates back to 1919 when John Sutton and his brothers played in the Lawrence County band in southern Ohio. Today, Sutton's grandsons have continued the family's musical traditions. Inspired by outfits worn by such old-time western singing groups as the Sons of the Pioneers, the Brothers' formal western costumes serve today as a tribute to their musical heritage.

In addition to rich, four-part harmonies and instrumentals, The Brothers & Co. Entertainers' family-oriented show includes interactive variety and comedy routines, award-winning classic magic by bass singer Jim Karns, of Fairborn, and the whip artistry of America's Got Talent veteran and pianist Gery L. Deer of Jamestown. Guitarist and song writer Ed Jones and vocalist and drummer Gary Deer, Jr. complete the quartet's unique sound.

"Our show is unique and has something for all ages and tastes," said The Brothers & Co. Entertainers writer, performer Jim Karns of Fairborn. "We have put a modern spin on an old style of entertainment that people just don't see anymore."

The band's family-friendly shows and grass roots popularity keep them close to home and this will be their 8th year performing for audiences at the Annie Oakley Days Festival. The group's unusual adventures aboard their tour bus nicknamed, "Noah's Ark," have spawned a series of short stories called "The Adventures of The Brothers & Co." which are available to read free online.
