Some of us know this is their job and it comes with being a part of their life. But what we have to put up with , we should be able to get a little bit more time, a little bit more credit, We are always on the outside looking in, we are always in the shadows and the last to meet someone. We have to deal with women at the venues, lifting their shirts, hanging on them all drunk and some even try and pick them up , after trying to grope them. Me well I try and do a lot for my mans band, the shows I can make when they are local, i will load up band equipment, unload it and load it up again after the show and never really get so much as a thank you, but if a fan was to even pick up a guitar cord it's a bug deal , a thank you so much. ask for a song and it is never played, if a fan asked for you not only do they give a shout out but they get the song also. we run for drinks but never get one bought, we put up with a lot of drama when they don't get shows they want and when shows go bad, which doesn't really happen that often but it has. We are on the side lines & get lonely a lot. So if you become a girlfriend of a band member get ready to be alone all night long, bring friends with you so you don't get hit on by sitting alone. It's not all fun really it isn't. Something goes wrong and you are the first thing they start complaining to and the last thing they thank..
When they go out of two for two three , four days at a time and never call you then you start to wonder and your mind plays games with you because you know what kind of women are at the shows.
I want everything to go well all the time but staying out of town with a woman who is a booking agent isn't one of my favorite things, not hearing a good night or an I love you really takes getting used to when they don't take time to call, it is always oh I was talking with fans and just can't stop to call you.
Well I finally gave up trying to fit in and gave up trying to feel needed.
I'm just me and roll with it all.
