It is hard to believe but Labor Day is almost here. This means that summer is almost over and soon autumn will be approaching. After that, old man winter will be knocking. For these reasons and more, there are things we all should be doing before summer officially ends. Some of these things we may be doing for the first time. Other things, we may be just doing one more time. What are these things? Here are few suggestions:
Going To The Beach
What is better to do on a summer day then heading to the beach and getting sand in between your toes? Most people cannot think of anything better. Just remember to take your sun tan lotion with you and apply it thoroughly on all areas of your body.
Going On A Picnic
No, a picnic and a day at the beach isn't the same thing. A picnic involves a basket and some great food. It can be romantic. Then it can include wine and a nice blanket. It could also be a family picnic that includes Frisbee playing. What every type of picnic you enjoy, make sure to get one or two in before summer ends.
Digging In The Dirt
All gardeners dream of digging in the dirt during those long days of winter when the ground is white. Now is the time to do at least one more time. Pull some weeds, thin out some flowers, stake up some flowers that need it and decide where you wish to plant some spring flowers when the time is right.
Go On A Hike Around The Lake
Yes, you can hike around the lake anytime during the year. Yet, most people will say that they enjoy this most when the weather is nice and the grass is green. Think about how nice the lake looks. Think about how pretty the scenery will be now. Enjoy the day and if you wish, take some pictures to remember the moment.
Yes, summer is slowly passing us by with each day. For this reason, we need to start appreciating each moment and we need to definitely experience those important personal must do items we all enjoy.
