Monday

The Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, and Two and a Half Men

Mondays are much funnier with the CBS trifecta firmly in place. The three comedies of The Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, and Two and a Half Men. The The Bang Theory is a decent warm up to How I Met Your Mother which is the funniest show on TV right now. If you're a Heroes fan, record Two and a Half Men because that is also one fo the funniest shows on TV right now.

Tuesday

Scrubs

The show that made hospitals fun again, continues to cause acute cases of belly laughs across the nation. Tune it for two episodes at 9pm and 9:30pm on ABC.

Wednesday

Better Off Ted *New

A new Wednesday night sitcom starring Jay Harrington is Better Off Ted on ABC. This new spring 2009 sitcom starts on March 18, 2009 at 8:30pm on ABC.

Thursday

In the Motherhood *New

Lighten up your Thursday with a new sitcom, mom style. On Thursday March 26, 2009, tune in to the first TV episode of In the Motherhood at 8pm, on ABC. Also on at 8pm is My Name is Earl on NBC.

Public Service *New

Another new Thursday night sitcom is this Amy Poehler vehicle, premiering on April 9, 2009. The show airs on NBC at 8:3pm, bumping Kath & Kim.

The office and 30 Rock, at 9pm and 9:320pm , both on NBC, complete the funny night.

Your DVD is going to busy tonight when you try to sort through all of these comedies.

Friday

A pre-prime time sitcom, Everybody Hates Crhis is running new epiosdes at 7pm on The CW. More comedic fun follows with The Game at 8:3opm.

Howie Do It - *New

How much do you really like Howie Mandel? One part Ashton Kutcher's Punk'd plus one part Alan Funt's Candid Camera minus Ashton Kutcher equals Howie Do It. Howie Mandel gets his own hidden camera show. It's on Fridays at 8pm on NBC.

Sunday

Sonny With a Chance - *New

Families who liked Demi Lovato in Camp Rock will have a good time watching her on Sonny With a Chance on The Disney Channel. This show is kid and family friendly. Sonny With a Chance starts what everyone hopes will be a long run on the Disney Channel, on Sunday, February 8, 2009 at 8pm.

    I live in the UK, so we tend to get these shows late, but there's been better sitcoms coming out of the US in recent years than in Britain.

    Monday nights are kind of like Thursday nights were in the 80's-Cosby, Cheers- the only night I regularly watch! Looking forward to some sitcoms to balance all of the crime dramas and reality shows!
