Must-Have Accents for Your Bedroom

So much of your life is spent in the bedroom that you deserve to make this space a private and relaxing retreat. Naturally, the bed is the most important piece of furniture in the bedroom, but the accents and accessories will help create the comfortable sanctuary you desire. Pillows are not only comfortable and beautiful decorative accessory for the bedroom. I think you just can't have too many pillows piled on the bed. They can be in a variety of beautiful fabrics to enhance the bedroom's decor or more utilitarian reasons like naps or propping yourself on for reading in bed.

A soft and comfortable chenille throw is more than just a pretty decorative accent used by interior designers to stage a bedroom for photos. I keep a throw on my bed to chase away chills during an afternoon nap. Using a cozy throw allows you to leave the bed still beautifully made up. Or grab the throw to curl up under while reading in your accent chair.

Your bedroom is your sanctuary, so use accessories that you personally find relaxing. I want live green plants around me because I find them soothing as they freshen the air I breathe. If you love fresh flowers, then consider keeping a fresh bouquet of your favorites on your night stand.
