did it get to be noon?
I just got started
and it's way too soon
I didn't even read
an item from Michele
or a poem from Nana
so please don't tell
But I can't miss Nancy
and my daily laugh
Or Jenny's heartfelt plea
and then Abby right aft (er)
and Charlotte and Jenn
and Nancy and Shirley
and Sheryl
and Lois
Ali and JP
Maria, Allene
Atlanta and Lee
Donna and Tony
Tresa, Theresa, and gee
It just goes on and on and on,
why next time I look
the morning is gone.
I've got faves by hundreds
and they all write such
good stuff so often
I read too darn much
Adair's got a poem
Jack's got a truth
Dr. Kristi's got a cure
but I need less ruth.
Yes ruthless I must be
wear blinders I better
and not get sucked into
one more word or letter.
No AC/Yahoo don't tempt me
don't make me curious
cause if I don't get
my assignments done
I know you'll be furious.

I totally understand. It took me nearly a month to get to this poem because I was so behind in reading. I was without internet for 2 weeks and had nearly 600 articles to read! I haven't published in weeks. I still have 50 unread e-mails. I can't wait to be caught up...but wait, they just keep writing and writing. Darn productive people. Why can't they be slackers like me and publish 1-4 things a month? Haha
Good one.
This is so funny. Thank you for my smile.
I think we all know this feeling! It seems that I have to choose between making money and making people happy with my comments. It's not always easy to choose!
i'm ready for rehab, too.
Haha, I know that feeling.
Very clever and true. I hope one of those Nancy's was me!
This is really great and right on the money. LOL!
Oh yes, we AC writers are a busy bunch because we are both reading and writing, And I used to feel sorry for my English teacher because he had to read all those term papers at the end of the semester. We have to read all the time!
