I donated my waist length hair to Locks of Love. The experience also awakened my hibernating passion for writing. So, I finally took the time to document my experience. Leaving most of my writing to gather dust in an unattended notebook, or computer file, that bit of writing found its way to a website I had joined months earlier, but didn't have the time to investigate.
That website was Associated Content.
AC has become my way of sharing my experiences, knowledge, writing for a little extra cash, and most importantly, a motivator to continue writing - a pasttime that has unfortunately taken a backseat to my love, and profession of, photography.
The comradery of AC Content Producers, the email alerts of friends being published and monetary offers for my writing has made me finally stick to a consistent writing pattern. Although all my writing isn't for AC, it has primed me to keep up on the art of word placement.

Post a CommentGood for you -- and welcome in retrospect to AC. If you need help, just ask!
AC has been a very big encourager to me also. I am up to just over 300 now, but I still need to improve, but this is my favorite site because they paid me first. :o)
Thanks. You point out effectively how important the AC community is.
Good for you - 100 and counting! ;-)
Congratulations on your 100th. I'm a new AC writer and 100 seems so far away. Plus it is heartwarming to see how writing for AC is so much more than just about the money.
