Arkansas dropped to 13th since LSU used the Razorbacks to make a statement. Penn State, Clemson, Notre Dame, and Virginia wrap up my rankings on losing notes.
The regular season is wrapping down with a light schedule next weekend. #1 LSU will be tested by #8 Georgia in the SEC Championship. Southern Mississippi (10-2) looks to derail Houston in the Conference USA Championship. #5 Virginia Tech looks for revenge when it meets #23 Clemson for the ACC Championship. #18 Oklahoma travels to #7 Oklahoma State. #16 Wisconsin meets #9 Michigan State in the Big Ten Championship. Texas visits #20 Baylor on Saturday.

- 2) Houston (12-0) crushed Tulsa 48-16. The Cougars meet Southern Miss for the Conference USA Title on Saturday.
- 3) Alabama (11-1) cruised past Auburn 42-14. Regular season complete.
- 4) Stanford (11-1) beat Notre Dame 28-14. Regular season complete.
- 5) Virginia Tech (11-1) shut out Virginia 38-0. The Hokies face Clemson on Saturday.
- 6) Boise State (10-1) crushed Wyoming 36-14. The Broncos host New Mexico on Saturday.
- 7) Oklahoma State (10-1) did not play. The Cowboys host Oklahoma on Saturday.
- 8) Georgia (10-2) beat Georgia Tech 31-17. The Bulldogs play LSU on Saturday.
- 9) Michigan State (10-2) beat Northwestern 31-17.The Spartans play Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship game on Saturday.
- 10) USC (10-2) stomped UCLA 50-0. The Trojans season is complete.
- 11) Michigan (10-2) beat Ohio State 40-34. Regular season complete.
- 12) Oregon (10-2) crushed Oregon State 49-21. The Ducks play UCLA on Saturday
- 13) Arkansas (10-2) lost to LSU 48-17. The Razorbacks regular season is complete.
- 14) South Carolina (10-2) beat Clemson 34-13. The Gamecocks regular season is complete.
- 15) Kansas State (9-2) did not play. The Wildcats host Iowa State on Saturday.
- 16) Wisconsin (10-2) crushed Penn State 45-7. The Badgers play Michigan State on Saturday.
- 17) TCU (9-2) did not play. The Horned Frogs host UNLV on Saturday.
- 18) Oklahoma (9-2) beat Iowa State 26-6. The Sooners visit Oklahoma State on Saturday.
- 19) Nebraska (9-3) beat Iowa 20-7. Regular season complete.
- 20) Baylor (8-3) whipped Texas Tech 66-42. The Bears host Texas on Saturday.
- 21) West Virginia (8-3) beat Pitt 21-20. The Mountaineers play at South Florida
on Thursday.
- 22) Penn State (9-3) was clobbered by Wisconsin 45-7. Regular season complete.
- 23) Clemson (9-3) lost to South Carolina 34-13. The Tigers face Virginia Tech on Saturday.
- 24) Notre Dame (8-4) lost to Stanford 28-14. Regular season complete.
