Mike Spain

LSU holds on to the top spot with a convincing win over West Virginia. Alabama moved up to fourth with their impressive win over Arkansas. Oklahoma State knocked Texas A&M down to number 21. West Virginia, Arkansas, North Carolina, and California fell out of my rankings. Oregon, Penn State and Texas Christian return to my rankings and Iowa State and undefeated Houston enters my rankings for the first time this season..

Auburn at #8 South Carolina is an important game as well. #13 Clemson at #9 Virginia Tech is a crucial ACC match up. #15 Texas at #21 Iowa State will show the football world if Texas is back. Arkansas at #19 Texas A&M will show which team can bounce back from a loss. SMU at #23 TCU will showcase to smaller conference powers.

Good stuff my friend. I believe that the game of the week may be Tex vs Iowa State but both Baylor and Kansas State are 3-0 and might be a good one too.

A lot of good unbeaten teams. I wonder how high Baylor can go this year.
