My Andrea

Nathan Ross
Andrea, Andrea, across the sea
Chancing a glance to look at me.

To rough waters I go to sail,
Through fog and wind that whisper and wail.

My Andrea stands on firm land
Sending a beacon of light with gentle hand.

I'll brave the stormy seas with heart full of hope;
Faith my sails, love my tethers and rope.

When I cross the water soon someday
I'll find in her a refuge, a ship in its bay.

And then she'll be my light, my life, my love,

My Andrea.
