'My Antonio' Winner Brooke Barlow Says She and Antonio Sabato Jr. No Longer Speak

Actor Antonio Sabato Jr. picked his lady on last night's finale of the VH1 reality show, My Antonio. 30 year old Brooke Barlow won Sabato's heart. But Sabato, who is best known for his racy Calvin Klein undie ads as well as his role of Jagger Cates on the soap opera General Hospital, lived through a soap opera of his own while filming My Antonio.

The dating show had a bevy of beautiful women vying for the affections of the dashing Italian actor. But if this show sounds too mush like ABC's The Bachelor, think a gain. One of the women competing for Antonio was his ex-wife Tully Jensen. Add to that, Sabato's mother , Yvonne, was a constant presence on the show. Yes, he's a mama's boy.

Last night's My Antonio finale was between the last two women standing- Miranda Reinfedlt, a 30 year old make up artist and Brooke Barlow, a 30 year old nurse. In the end, Sabato picked Barlow..... and they lived happily ever after, right?

Unfortunately that's not how this story ends. While the show's viewers would like to believe that Sabato and Barlow rode off into the sunset together, the truth of the matter is the couple broke up well before the final episode of My Antonio even aired. In true reality TV romance fashion, the relationship fizzled quickly once reality set in.

In an interview on VH1 Blog, Barlow answered candidly when asked about the current status of her relationship with Antonio Sabato Jr. Barlow told VH1, "I'm just going to be honest with you: I am not in touch with Antonio. We haven't spoken in probably two, three months".

While Barlow admitted she and Sabato gave the relationship try (and she even met Sabato's children) the stress of not being allowed to be seen in public together while they show aired did their relationship in. Barlow has no hard feelings towards Sabato and feels they could be good friends- she just hasn't heard from him.

As for Barlow, she told VH1 she has absolutely no regrets about doing the show, saying, " I would love for this to parlay into some great hosting career or some other great experiences derived from the show". Sounds like she got over Antonio pretty quickly.

So what does this mean for the lovelorn actor? Could there possibly be a My Antonio 2 on the horizon? Stay tuned....

Antonio could have acted a little better on the show.
