My Arizona Persona -- Lyrics

( the New Me... In Song )

Whyte Panther
by Whyte Panther (Luigi Fiorino)

Well this here Brooklyn born cowboy
He's been turning heads from town to town
Wearing a great big smile
And all of the while
He shows 'em all what's going down

Now he's got ponies and cows
And he just don't know how
His life got turned so upside down

But just make-a-way for
His Arizona persona

Some folks don't seem to understand
Why he wears them cowboy boots and hats
But it don't matter none
He's having too much fun
So what do you think about that

And as a matter of course
He's 'bout to saddle his horse
Ya better step the heck out of his path

And just make-a-way for
His Arizona persona

And he rides those western mountains
Over every single trail and hill
If you wanna ask if he'll ride with you
You can bet your sweet soul that he will

At the end of a long day's riding
Over this glorious piece of land
No need to travel too far
To find him at TJ's bar
With a double patron in his hand

And if the sun's been too hot
He'll even buy you a shot
Raising the glass up for a fallen friend

And that's just the way of
His Arizona persona

And he rides those western mountains
Over every single trail and hill
If you wanna ask if he'll ride with you
You can bet your sweet soul that he will

Now this story ain't hard to follow
So just listen up if you can
He opted out of the race
For a cowboy's pace
And he became a brand new man

So learn to kick up your feet
'Cause life is just so sweet
Follow the footsteps of this gentle man

And you'll learn the way of
His Arizona persona

God I love the way of
My Arizona persona

Thanks everyone... hate to sound like an overoptimistic idealist abotu my life these days, but GOD do I love my life... even with all of the recent drama. Actually the melody was more inspired by Garth Brooks' "Good Ride Cowboy" on of my recent karaoke tunes... had to try REALLY hard not to fall back into THAT specific melody when laying this down

Reminds me of the song "What-cha Gonna Do With a Cowboy". Good job.
