I can still smell your hair but I can not stroke your forehead.
I can still hear your laugh but I can no longer tickle your belly.
I can not stroke your face gently with my fingers or hold you safely within my bosom. I have only my tears to taste.
If only I had known on that ordinary first morning of May our world would forever end and that this would be the last time I could touch you, kiss you, stroke you, feel you, LOVE YOU ...I would have held you just a few moments longer.
I would have never let you go.
...Dedicated to my Erika, Nini, Moni & Marianna. I am always with you as you are with me in my thoughts, my heart and in my deeds.
