Who would have thought, a pair such as us

Would become best friends who would never fuss!



To us age didn't matter, it never factored in

We were best friends thru thick and thin



We loved our Sonic run to get our favorite delight

You'd always say it made everything in the world right



Who could forget our many Hobby Lobby sprees

I would always have a coupon because you'd print one off for me



Of course there were our many long conversations

We'd talk about our hubbies and all their expectations



We made quite a pair when it came to decoration

Our ideas came together to make quite a presentation



I miss our long talks and drives around town

You always had a way of lifting me when I was down



I always knew you were just a phone call away

and there were times your phone would ring all day!



Each memory brings a smile, or perhaps a tear

but in my heart I feel you are near



I know your happy now and where you want to be

Although I wish sometimes you were still here with me



I can almost see your smile and hear your laughter

Because now I know you got your happily ever after
