I have so much to be thankful for,
I can open my Bible every day,
to get a glimpse of what the Lord has to say.
I am so thankful that the Word,
is here for everyone to eat.
When you open your Bible,
do you open up to feast?
The Word of God is to be devoured,
feasted upon, like a Thanksgiving meal.
My bible is full of promises,
it's a love story between God and me.
My Lord promises to deliver my soul
from the grips of death.
He blesses me every day
when he opens up my eyes.
I don't have to worry about those
who do me wrong, because
He turns the wicked upside down.
I'm so thankful for my Bible,
because it is the Word of God.
When I hold my Bible,
I feel like I am embracing,
my Savior, Jesus Christ, Himself.

Another lovely poem... very nice. I started a Bible study on January 1 that goes through the entire Bible in a year with a companion book for notes and even journal entries. I'm excited about finishing in December and then starting all over to go through it again!
