My Biggest Resolution for 2010 and Ten Ways to Keep It

KRM
My biggest New Year's Resolution for 2010 is to strengthen my marriage. Here are ten ways I plan to do that:
10. Remember the Little Things. My wife is more irritated about the little things than anything else. If I can keep my soda cans bussed, put my shoes away regularly, and stick my socks in the hamper after I take them off, it will do a lot to show how committed I am to being a better husband.
9. Set One Day Aside a Week. I resolve to set aside one day every week for hanging out with her after work. I won't get online or play a video game that day. Instead, we will watch a movie or show together and enjoy each other's company.
8. Set One Day Aside a Month. I resolve to set one day aside per month to take my wife out on a date. She works hard and deserves it and so do I.
7. Buy a Gift Regularly. I resolve to buy one token gift per month to show her that I love her. A flower, a special piece of clothing, perfume, or even a book once a month will be a nice surprise for my wife who seldom buys anything for herself.
6. Tell Her I Love Her. I resolve to tell my wife that I love her whenever I remember to do so. I don't want a single day to go by without her knowing how I feel.
5. Say it with Music. I resolve to share music with my wife more often and experience songs with her.
4. Kiss Her Goodnight. I resolve to kiss my wife goodnight passionately every single night, and not forget. I also resolve to kiss her in the mornings and hug her whenever possible.
3. Tell Her She's Beautiful. I resolve to tell my wife that she is beautiful, even though she may already know it.
2. Fight Fair. I resolve to always fight fairly when we are having a heated debate and not insult or say anything to intentionally hurt my wife.
1. Be More Open. I resolve to be more open with my wife and share more with her instead of bottling things up inside.
