My bother died,
And my soul is ripped apart,
Puddles of lost hope pool on the floor,
And pain tortures my heart.
And my soul is ripped apart,
Puddles of lost hope pool on the floor,
And pain tortures my heart.
Tears flood my eyes,
I wish they'd wash away the pain,
But right now I feel hopeless,
Like I'll never be happy again.
"Stay busy," my friends say,
"Time will surely heal."
But I think it will take a lifetime,
To change how I fee.
I may become stronger,
But my heart will never mend,
My life will never be the same,
The pain will never end.
