My Childhood Home

*Shell*
Where I learned to ride my bike
Draw with chalk and jump rope
Where I climbed trees just to see the view of town

Building forts and pretending to live in them
Going to the mystically blue colored pond,
catching tadpoles, fish and laughing the whole time

Where basketball began in the backyark with a father teaching his daughters
Where a family pulled together to build a garage,
A room to match the mood of its owner
Where love and appreciation began

Thank you! I actually wrote this in the 8th grade, for a poetry class I had to take, seen it in my keepsakes box, and decided I might as well post some old stuff, as well as my knew! I appreciate your approval on my work! Means alot!
