A turn of events
Can come along
When everything right
Turns out to be wrong.
A double whammy
A one-two punch
Never expecting
Not even a hunch.
But I have got
My faith in God
To walk beside me
When times are hard.
He gives me comfort
To ease my pain
If the sunniest day
Turns to sudden rain.
The footsteps shown
On the sandy shore
Remind us He will carry us
And comfort us forever more.

I am also seeing stormy days ahead and bracing for it to my best of ability! YCN should be a breath of fresh air that I can seek refuge in, and maybe, to get some inspiration! My prayers are with you, dear Nana - siva
Filled with truth and inspiration~
This is exceptionally beautiful - how fortunate we are to have faith!
Beautiful!
You do the best poems on YCN! Great job as always.
Just lovely; kinda like you!
I am reminded of the words of the Bible (2 Cor 1:3-4) which say: "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." Well done, JN!
Well said!
