My Compact Front Load Maytag Washer
A Great Buy
We have been using it for about 2 months now. It works hard and does an excellent job on cleaning. It has electronic controls, holds a lot of clothes if needed or larger items that were previously Washerteria items and it saves energy. We have saved about $40 in water and electric so far.
Just 23-1/2" wide, 24" deep and 33-1/4" high, this Maytag compact front load washer easily fits in smaller areas and takes up less of floor space. While compact , this washer still offers a generous 2.4 cu. ft. of inside washer space that making laundry day a breeze.

This machine is state of the art. It is rated in the top three for energy saving features and for quality. The average cost of this Maytag Compact Front Loading Washer is about $750.00
Well worth the price though. We anticipate this washer will last more than 20 years with the proper care and proper usage. If you divide the cost by the years you anticipate using it, the price is minimal. If you also add the savings from energy costs, you are actually not paying very much for this excellent buy.
I love our new washer. It gets the clothes clean and is quick and efficient.

Post a CommentWe purchased the same Maytag Compact washer and dryer in July 2010 and have been pleased with the performance until two days ago when the dryer stopped heating. Fortunately it is still under warranty but having the dryer break 7 months into owning doesn't inspire much confidence in the product. We will be purchasing the extended warranty.
I purchased my MA2400AWW in 2006 and it worked fine for about a year, then started having problems with it stopping in the middle of the wash cycle. Had to pay service call to have repairman come a few times when that happened and then the last time it happened, was told need to replace the motor and control board at a cost of $800 (more than I paid for the machine initially). I had had Maytag washer/dryer prior to this machine and it lasted 20 years with no problem, but after this experience will never purchase a Maytag again.
