My Concerns About the Swine Flu Vaccine

Swine Flu Vaccine and Long Term Effects

KB
As flu season approaches, many people are wondering whether they will get the new swine flu that is out in the population today. People are being more cautious, washing their hands frequently and staying away from people that are sick. My own church has asked that if we are sick would we please stay home so as not to infect everyone else, especially the babies. I think that is a wise thing for all businesses and churches to do instead of forcing their emplyees to come to work sick or risk losing their jobs.

As far as my personal opinion of the swine flu vaccine, I think it has not been studied or researched enough to take a chance on the long term effects it might have. Look at the effects the childhood vaccines have had on many kids from having mercury in the vaccines. Its not worth the risk.

My own next door neighbors child who is 7 years old got the swine flu and yet, not another person in that family got sick. Its all about getting the person to the doctor and getting the antibiotics started within the first 24 hours of contracting the swine flu. Also, my husband came home the other day and told me that his old boss contracted the H1N1 virus (swine flu) and died of it. My husband told me that the man had waited to long to go to the doctor or hospital and ended up dying of pneumonia.

People need to realize this flu is nothing to shrug your shoulders about, it can kill you if your system is to weak to fight it. People with asthma, babies 6 months of age to 24 years old, also people between the ages of 25 and 65 who are at higher risk and pregnant women can get the vaccine as well as healthcare workers and emergency personnel. But beware, people that are allergic to eggs are at risk of having an allergic reaction to the swine flu vaccine.

Take precautions to protect your family from the H1N1 Virus (swine flu), teach your family to regularly wash their hands and to wipe their noses with tissues, not hankerchiefs. Teach them to cover their mouths when they cough. Kids at school are more prone to getting sick due to the fact that children rarely pay attention as to whether another child is sick or not. Give them a hand sanitizer if the school will allow them to carry it in their backpacks.
