On that day,
I was injured during playing, in school,
It was bleeding rapidly,
I got the FIRST AID at home by him quickly.
On that day,
I was late to reach at my school,
It was raining tremendously,
He was with me to tell the truth, to my class teacher fortunately.
On that day,
I was crying repeatedly,
After getting one mark less from my friend,
He taught me that 'Loss and Gain' it is our living trend.
On that day,
I missed my school picnic, and wanted to leave the bed,
I was then suffering from a certain illness,
He was present through the whole day, beside my sadness.
On that day,
I lost a special book in my school,
I was so unhappy that how to smile then I definitely forget,
To bring the same book from the shop, expectedly he was not late.

Very nice work
Reading this again months after your father's death, warms my heart in recalling my own personal 'dad' moments. It also reminds me of another most personal belief of mine: Death ends an earthly life, but not a relationship - that bond's eternal :-)
Interesting - you are one of the lucky ones!
Your father sounds like a special man. Your poem is well-wriiten and so full of love. -Superb!
