My Dear Father...How Are You ?

SAIKAT KUMAR DUTTA
To My Dear Dad,

How are you Dad ?
Why did you go so far,
Making us too sad ?

Remembering you every moment,
Why death comes,
We have nothing to comment.

Tears are falling all-time from eye,
As rain drops fall,
From up above the sky.

Always stay well and take care,
For the peace of your soul,
We are making heartiest prayer.

What are you eating and drinking there ?
We are so upset because,
Can't send anything to you, my dear.

In heaven what are given you to wear ?
Is there a well-wisher,
Provided 24-hour to your near ?

Bless us every time, from where you are,
Stay always with us,
Though from you we are so far.

I have written this short painful letter,
To inform you that we,
Will not forget you and your love ever.

Your only loving son Saikat

My dad has been gone for quite some time now, but Saturday was his birthday. I love your poem to your Father. I'm still working on a tribute to my Dad. Thanks for sharing this with us.
