My Destiny
I am like a bird
Wanting to fly to my destiny
But fixed are the chains around reality
How long must I wait in vain?
Hold back the tears
Take more blows than a gentle hand raising me
Wait in the darkness while the bin fills wet with tissues
Take me now before I crack
I fear the unknown
How long will my wings be torn?
You have to hear me lord
Nobody sees me, only you
Only you have the key to unlock me out
Out into the world that was meant for me
The trees that will shelter me
That is my destiny
