My Dolly

Missy H.
A kid's poem I wrote

My dolly, my dolly, where could she be
My dolly, my dolly has run away from me
Maybe she went to outer space
or off to join a cross country race
She could be swimming her way to Cuba
Or stuck in my friend Sally's tuba
Maybe on the beach, getting herself a tan
Or on a road trip in the back of a van
At my grandma's house, in Tennessee
In the jungle, swinging from trees
Maybe she's appearing on the evening news
Or took herself on a Caribbean cruise
She must rather be somewhere else instead
Oh, wait, here she is underneath my bed
