Public Transit
I am currently going to college (3 times a week this semester) and it takes me 20-30 minutes (one way) to get to campus. In one day, that's 40-60 minutes to and from school. Multiply that by 3, that's up to 180 minutes a week or 60 miles. My truck is a bit of a gas guzzler so, I am going to start taking public transit when I can. Plus it's cheaper in the long run. Reusable Menstrual products

Reusable Bedding
I have a guinea pig and spending the money on good bedding is expensive! Plus, living in a rented house, I can't exactly start a compost pile in the back yard like I used too. So, I am switching to "piggy bed spreads" for a lack of a better term! You can buy a few of these for Halloween, Christmas or the 4th of July. Plus it'll be fun for your little guinea pig because guinea pigs can see in color! The only thing is that you need to clean up the droppings on a daily basis. You can learn how to make them and find inexpensive websites at Guinea pig fun or buy them at piggybedspreads.com
Along with switching to energy saving light bulbs, unplugging things when I'm not using them, turning off the water when I'm brushing my teeth. These are just a few things I'm going to do.
