These are the ingredients that you need to have.
12 tsp of sugar to serve as the caramel
6 eggs
1 can of 12 oz of evaporated milk
1 can of 12 oz of condensed milk
2 muffin or cupcake pans (each pan has six sections)
Now that you have your ingredients all ready to go, proceed to the steps below.
1. You first will need to separate the yolks and the whites from the 6 eggs. You will be using the yolks only here. When you are finished separating them, place them in a bowl.
2. After you have your yolks ready, add in the evaporated as well as the condensed milk to the bowl. Mix those ingredients together well.
3. Next you will want to caramelize the sugar. Place the 12 tsp of sugar in a small pan. Turn the heat on to a low setting. We don't want to burn it, so keep it here for a short time. The sugar will eventually start to melt and when it turns a golden brown color, turn the heat off.
4. You can now preheat your oven to 275 deg F.
5. Now remove the caramelized sugar quickly from the pan and put 1 tsp of sugar in each section of the muffin or cupcake pan.
6. You will next want to put the mixture of the yolks along with the milk into both muffin of cupcake pans.
7. Place both pans into the oven. Wait for 45 minutes and then check them (cooking time might vary from oven to oven). You can use a popsicle stick to place in one of the pan sections to check if it is done or not. If you get some of the mix on the stick, it is not ready. Wait until up to an hour. When it is finished, it should have a golden color to it.
8. When you feel that it is done, wait for it to cool off and place them in the refrigerator. They should be finished in a few hours. When they are ready, take them out and serve them to your family and friends! You can also add cool whip to top of your dessert if you wish!
