Journey - Journey is a great rock band from back in the day when I was in high school. Who could ever forget such classics as "Any Way You Want It" and "Don't Stop Believin'"? My kids were digging in the attic a few years ago through my husband and my large album collection, Journey was one of the albums they pulled out in disbelief. Come to find out they both have many Journey tunes loaded on their Zunes!
Berries - I remember having to get dressed in jeans and long sleeve to go with my grandma to pick blackberries at Great Aunt Joan's. I loved Joan's Midwest farm but the hot walk past the cows and smelly goats, down the dusty tractor trail, and finally to the blackberry bushes was sheer torture. We often saw snakes and were always besieged by bugs. The stickers always got me and my hands came away bloody. What sweet memories! I can hear Grandma and Aunt Joan laughing. Sisters from England, they always had fun together and their soft accents filled me with joy. Berries, like so many other sweet things, bring back fond memories of my lovely Grandma!
Daydream- Guess I'm on a musical kick because this one makes me think of The Monkee's classic hit "Daydream Beliver" --Oh, I could hide 'neath the wings of the bluebird as she sings. The six o'clock alarm would never...-I loved The Monkees but couldn't admit it until I got to college. They just weren't cool enough for high school!
Run- I don't like the word run.I am not and have never been an athletic girl and I hate to run. I don't much like being on the run, running to the store, or running errands either. It sounds like you are hurrying and pressed for time.
Glory- On the other hand, I like glory! Glory is praise or accolades in recognition of an accomplishment. Glory is praise to the Lord. Glory is good and beautiful.
I must admit I was feeling a little blue today. This game was fun and has reminded me of the things I need to be thankful for. Thank-you Tracie Walker!

Post a CommentWhat a fun game!
My grandma had a blackberry bush in her yard. This has me wondering if all grandmas have berries to pick...okay, probably not, but many do. Great job.
Well done. This is a fascinating game.
I love the Monkey's too! It is nice to meet you this way, this was fun to do, it picked me up too. I see you around all the time.
Fun! You did a great job! I'm waiting on my five words....
I enjoyed this :)
I like your choices and what you wrote. Nice job. :-)
I'm sure that everyone's responses to these words would be quite different. Something like this could almost be used as a verbal Rorschach test!
Very nice job, Lynn. Thanks.
Thanks, Lynn, I loved this one! I loved the Monkees too, and always had to do the Monkee walk. And I remember picking blackberries on my Grandparents' farm - you described the experience perfectly, ending with what a sweet memory it is! I'm glad my game made you smile, as you've made me smile with your entries. Glad to get to know you!
