My Experience with At-Home STD Tests

SDR2010
One of the things that people worry about most in life is getting a disease from sexual activity. Many people hide the details of their life behind doors because they live in fear that they might actually obtain a sexually transmitted diseased or STD. Because of this, many people choose not to get tested in a public form because they fear that other people they know will find out that they need to be tested. They are also afraid of finding out the results because they could get a positive reading. Many people fear a positive reading and so they decide never to get tested at all and avoid having to see people they may know. Privacy is a big issue with STD testing because people are not likely to get tested if they feel their privacy is in danger. This is the reason that at-home STD testing kits have come into the market. They are pretty popular today with people looking for privacy and also accurate results. They have a wide range of tests and they can be selected based on the budget that you have. I have personally tried two at-home STD tests, and I find that they are very accurate, and I love the privacy they offer.

Home Access HIV is the best at-home STD test that I have tried in my experience with these kits. The kit was delivered to my door in a simple brown box to protect my privacy. The kit comes with lancets, envelopes and a card for collecting blood. You prick your finger with the lancet and drip a small blood sample onto the card. You then seal the card into the envelope and mail it off. The sample is then sent to the lab and the results are returned within 7 business days. I found that the shipping was really fast and I loved that this test is FDA approved. It is also guaranteed to be 100% accurate and if you have questions about the results there is support made available to you. I paid $55 for the test and I find it will well worth the price.

I also used the HIV AB Test Kit but I found this to be more complicated and time consuming than the Home Access version. It costs about $750 and there is no guarantee saying the results are accurate or any additional support offered with the results.
