My Experience with My Newborn Son

Kelly Fleming
When I was pregnant with my second child I had a very tough labor. I was very sick and required to be on bed rest for the last 4 months. I received multiple amniocenteses, and I was very anemic. I was on cancer mediation you name it and it was probably happening to me.

We were all scared during delivery we just prayed and prayed that this baby would be okay. When my Son was born he was perfect he was a healthy weight and length. My Family and I were so happy we started to cry. None of us would put him down we all took turns holding him for the whole day.

It was a miracle what happened to this day I feel a special bond with him that will last forever. I know you are not supposed to hold a newborn straight or they will always want to be held. I could not put him in his room I always wanted him by me. My Husband had to run around and rearrange everything that he did previously so that he could stay by me when he slept.

He was in a bassinet in our room until 4 months of age then I gave in and put him in his room. We are just very thankful to have our happy and healthy baby boy.

Wow, sounds depleting, thanks to your persistence though and God, you had a baby to love, in the end.
