My Experience with Textbroker

Chen Salis
I have found a terrific company for freelance writers, text broker. I began writing for text broker in January of 2009 and I have been extremely satisfied with this company. Many people have never heard of text broker as it is a new and upcoming site for freelance writing. How it works is pretty simple. You are given a classification based upon your writing abilities from 2 to 5 stars. Based upon your classification level you are able to browse through current assignments on a variety of subjects such as health, animals, travel, weddings, technology and science to name a few. You choose which assignments you want to accept. The client will describe what type of content they are looking for, instructions for each assignment are included.

What I like about text broker is this: You know immediately how much each article is worth, there is no guessing. Each word is worth X amount, as an example.70 cents per word or 1.5 cents per word. The client will explain how many words each article can contain, what keywords and what style it should be written in. You have the ability to research a variety of topics, and you only write about what you are interested in or have knowledge of.

Anyone who can follow basic instructions can succeed with text broker. The review periods for each article are short, normally a client will accept or reject an article within a days time. Text broker evaluates each article and your classification will change based upon the quality of your submissions. Feedback on assignments is very meaningful for a freelance writer, at least in my opinion.

Payments are made once a month via paypal, and the minimum payout is easy to reach, it is ten dollars. You must request payment or your balance will roll over into the next month.

I have submitted content to a variety of websites and in my opinion text broker is one of the best sites out there for freelance writers. The assignments are easy to complete and the clients are not likely to reject your submissions as long as you follow their requests and instructions.

If you are looking for a great website to earn money on your writing look no further than text broker! This site is only available to US based writers, and sign up is easy. Just so you know, you do need to submit a sample of your writing when completing the application for your initial classification rating. I will continue to write for this company and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a legitimate company who definitely pays to check out text broker.

I just started writing for textbroker. I think that everyone is rated as a 3 when they start, since the amount of time it took for them to "review" my test article was almost instantaneous. My daughter and sister also started at the same time and were rated as 3's as well. Thus far I have written 2 articles which were accepted right away. What I don't like is that you can only reserve one article at a time to write, and there is not much available for people ranked as 3's to write. Also, if you don't check the site first thing in the morning and reserve something, you are usually out of luck. Not a good site for supplementing your income until you are rated a 4, which can only come after writing at least 5 articles. I am looking forward to being rated a 4 when I anticipate doing much better, since the majority of the work available is for those ranked as a 4 or 5.

Are there enough article options? Do you continue to write on AC? Which do you prefer and why? I'll have to check it out.

I was quickly accepted after writing a science piece. I went to pick an assignment -- NO SCIENCE ASSIGNMENTS! That's sad... I hope something shows up. This is NOT promising.

Thanks! I was approved a long time ago, but I haven't written anything. I will soon.
