The first time I used a herbal ear oil was while I was pregnant with my first child. I developed a double ear infection late in my pregnancy that was so painful I spent an entire night pacing the floor and whimpering in pain. The next day I went to the doctor to get antibiotics and ear drops. Three days later I was still in excruciating pain. In desperation I asked my midwife if there was anything herbal I could treat my ear pain with. When she suggested Garlic Mullein oil I was unsure if it would work but purchased some anyway figuring it couldn't possibly make anything worse. I put the first drops in my ears early that afternoon. By bedtime there was a noticeable difference in my pain level. I was starting to feel better. By the end of the next day I was no longer in pain though I continued using both the herbal drops and the medicine prescribed to me until they were done.
Because I had been using antibiotics already I wasn't entirely convinced that this was a miracle cure but I was defiantly willing to try it again if I ever did get another ear infection. I got a chance to try it again sooner than I would have liked, one month later I got yet another ear infection. This time as soon as the pressure in my ear turned to pain I started applying the ear oil figuring I would schedule a doctor's appointment the next morning if my ear showed no improvement. The appointment ended up being unnecessary since the ear infection did show improvement almost immediately and was entirely pressure free within eighteen hours of applying the drops as directed. Once I was done with this round of Garlic Mullein drops I was convinced that they worked for me.
I have since used the Garlic Mullein oil drops on both of my sons when they have had ear infections and it worked just as efficiently for them. I've given the drops to both my husband and my mother for their ear infections and they both reported quick results using the herbal ear oil. Now when anyone asks me for an alternative treatment for an ear infection I am always happy to tell them about the quick relief we found in Garlic Mullein drops. While herbal ear oil drops might not work for every person or every ear infection they have always worked for my family. These days I even keep Garlic Mullein ear oil drops in my medicine cabinet just in case one of the kids ends up with ear pain in the middle of the night.
