My Experience Using Physicians Formula

This is a review of Physicians Formula makeup product line. This company that's been in business since 1937, and endorsed by surgeons, dermatologists and allergists. It is a high-quality, hypoallergenic product line consisting of eye shadow, facial makeup, eye liner, skin lotions, sun screens and lip sticks.

Today, consumers have to become researchers in order to get to the truth about what they are putting on their skin. It seems that higher priced makeup has more unnecessary ingredients which can cause irritations
and breakouts.

It's generally thought that the more you pay for a makeup, the better it is. I disagree and can attest to this fact from my own experiences. I've long suffered from blemishes, breakouts and rashes almost all my life. I'm not a youngster so acne isn't a concern for me anymore, but facial breakouts were a constant annoyance and embarrassment. It was an endless cycle. I'd try a new product, and it may seem to work for a few weeks ,but then one morning I'd wake up to another red facial rash!

I've lost count on the number of makeup products I've used over the years and money I've spent.

With much trepidation I applied a small amount of mineral powder to my red and blotchy cheeks, hoping for the best. When I washed my face at the end of the day, to my amazement, my skin actually looked better!

The following days I applied more makeup, eye shadow and liner, and each day revealed a better looking complexion. After a week, I noticed my skin was free from eruptions and rashes. Eureka! I had found a product that was good for my skin.

I won't mention the name of latest makeup I used except that a famous model endorsed it. I can endorse the Physicians Formula® line because it actually does what it says . It is inexpensive, made from natural ingredients and it doesn't break my skin out!

The Ingredients

The Mineral wear® is healthy makeup and that's what it's all about. Ingredients such as Mica, Malachite, Rhodocrosite, Smithsonite are along with Boron nitrate, Titanium dioxide and Zinc Oxide for sun protection. Mineral water ,magnesium, and vitamins A and E, to kill any free radicals. There isn't any talc powder ,like other mineral makeup.

Other mineral makeup have some ingredients that irritate and cause harm to the skin or worse. Some common ingredients are methyl Methacrylate,mineral oil, Sodium lauryl Sulfate, Propylene glycol, Formaldehyde and Alpha-hydroxy Acids!

Physicians Formula® is very economical and ecologically wrapped. The mineral powder, eyeliner and bronzer have paper containers with simple leaf printing. I like that fact that the company didn't spend a lot of the container and kept the price of the products low as well. They claim to use 93 % less plastic than other companies.
