My Facebook Friends Are Always Hunting for Things!

Are You One of Those Who Enjoys Hunting for Eggs, Farms, and Mafia on Facebook?

Barbie Crafts
All my friends on Facebook are doing these activities where they are always hunting for things: eggs, farm things, mafia characters, and more. Hunting, searching, looking, asking for help hunting, searching, and looking. They do this for fun. I have not joined any of it, despite the invitations in my inbox. This is for two reasons:

1. I don't have a clue what any of it is about. IT SEEMS TERRIBLY CONFUSING.

2. I hate to hunt for things. I spend probably 75% of my time hunting for things. I have always hated hunting for things. i am very disorganized, so I am predisposed to always having to hunt for things.

To start with, my purse is a mess. Every time someone calls me, I have to hunt for my phone. I have to hunt for my wallet, and then I have to hunt for my debit card or grocery store cards. I have to hunt for my keys, even though I put them on a long lanyard for that reason.

of course, I have had the distinct motherly pleasure of hunting for my kids the last several years. This stretches from those horrifying times they disappear when they are younger and scare you to death......it later changes as time goes by to when you can't reach them on their cell phone. You frantically leave messages, and you imagine the worst. If you have raised kids, you probably have had those moments yourself. My kids are grown, but it feels like I "hunt for them" more now....

We have the Ebay toy business, of which I have told you before. We are always hunting for some item or another that someone has bought and we failed to adequately track the inventory. We may spend hours looking for one stuffed animal or other item. It seems that nobody buys the things we carefully inventory and record bag numbers, etc...I suppose the moral of that story is that we should stop inventory! Maybe the business would improve!

I spent two days hunting for the deliming tool that came with my Bunn coffeemaker. I have been hunting for my pattern design notebook (years of my original needlework and craft designs) for a year. We have moved a few times the last several years, and there are so many things like that that I have not yet located. So, we often find ourselves in the basement "hunting" for something we have just realized was lost in one of the moves.

My daughter is a college cheerleader. She has been a cheerleader since she was 4. They let her start early at the YMCA in their little program. I have spent half of my life "hunting" for pieces and parts of cheer uniforms. College cheerleaders have more parts to keep up with, and I am always looking for one part or another. Of course, I am always the one who gets the blame when it is missing. Have you noticed, by the way, that mothers are always getting accused of having a hobby of stealing laundry items.

Anyway, I just can't understand why people have fun hunting things. I hate hunting things. I finally found a special slot for my CVS card, so that I don't have to hunt for it!
