My Father's Day Poems

Mr. C
Only for you Dad
i know you may pull out your hairs or grind your teeth
i know you may yell and punch the walls
i know you have wondered why your getting yelled at
sat outside staring at the sky with the belief
that you will still come back in after all those falls
sit down at the table and take it when i call you fat

with all your aches and pains of having a kid
you have still managed to keep your manhood
you have wanted to break down and cry
but you are rugged, manly, and you forbid
that a kid get the best of you or could
or should or have or would try

after this day nothing is going to change
i will still be obnoxious, nothing will be new
you will want a gun and for me to be in range
but when your aiming, remember that i love you

Fathers Day
best dad in the world, coolest dad
awesome dad, or father of the year award
no mug or shirt can explain the times we've had
the laughs of hitting the ball on the backboard

best dad in the world, coolest dad
awesome dad, or father of the year award
no saying can tell that we are a dyad
that you, Dad, are the ultimate reward

this day, father's day, is for you
the words that i could say are few
today i will think and realize its true
that you are most important dad, i love you

Whats up Dad!
hey man i've got something to say
i know that i'm not be the best son
i know your sanity is starting to fray
and that the load i put on you is a ton

but dude you've gotta know that i do care
so i wrote this for you on Father's Day
hoping you'll stop giving me that glare
this poem might extend my life, it may

well i've gotta go, i've got a date
she super cool and shes cute too
have a good day, ill be home late
oh! and don't tell anyone but, i love you
