My Favorite Christmas Gift: Cold Hard Cash

Cold hard cash is my favorite Christmas gift. There is nothing quite like getting a wad of cash for Christmas. Other gifts devalue in time but cash can be used time and time again. You can even put cash in the bank or in a bond or in a stock and make more money with your cash.

Sure, if you receive cash for your Christmas gift you may not be able to tell your friends and family about all the value and play time you got out of it. But guess what, you could use that cash and turn it in to a video game or other gaming system.

There are so many ways to use the cash that you get at Christmas. You could use it to buy yourself some food. You could go out and celebrate at a fancy restaurant. You could go out and buy new clothes. Maybe you need a new sweater or new shoes for that up and coming dance. You could also go out and buy yourself a new electronic gadget. Maybe a new video game just game out and you want to buy it. Maybe you need an extra controller for your video game system so that you can play with 4 people at a time.

Another thing about cash is that it can be used to donate and give it away. You could give the money to a charity or some other organization that is in need. You could give the cash to a friend or someone else you know. You don't always need to keep gifts unless you are in need.

Rather than giving gift cards I think the best Christmas gift to give and receive is cash. Cash has a value that can last a lifetime. It won't fade away with trends and the tide of the technology. You can deposit your cash in the bank, or put it under your mattress. But remember in the U.S. banks are federally insured up to $100,000 so it will still be available for you to use if the bank goes under.

Cash is timeless. I have been receiving cash at Christmas for as long as I can remember. It is easy to give and even easier to receive. You just need to put it in your wallet or purse. However, make sure you don't throw any cash out as it can get lost in the trash of gift wrapping paper and envelopes.
